The originators of rugby sevens, Scotland have participated in 76 tournaments. Their experienced captain, Colin Gregor, is third on the table for HSBC Sevens World Series Season’s Points Scorers and first equal with NZ’s Tomasi Cama on goal scorers with 33 points. The key goalkicker’s played for Ponsonby Rugby Club and Scotland A. He’s Scotland’s all time rugby sevens points scorer with 621.

Between aisles 36 and 1 the 'Celtic Boom!' Cheerleaders will have you up in your seats supporting Scotland each time the hit the field.
From midday Thursday 2nd February until 6pm Saturday 4th February you can text vote for your favourite cheerleader squad by texting* the name of the country they're supporting to 5678. E.g. SCOTLAND. The three squads with the most public votes are then judged and the winning squad takes home $7,000! Plus you go in the draw to win two tickets to the 2013 Hertz Sevens.

The Hertz Sevens is one of the biggest and best events of the year where everyone who is anyone attends. This year we are lucky enough to attend this awesome event and be the official cheerleaders for the Scottish team. We are a group of friends from Tauranga who met through musical theatre many years ago. We sing together, dance together and have one hell of a party together most weekends.
We are looking forward to attending the Sevens for the third time in a row, however we have a feeling that this will be the BEST yet!! Don't forget to vote for us during the weekend of the Hertz Sevens.
