Finalists
Check out the 16 finalist cheerleading squads who will be cheering for each of the teams competing in the 2012 Sevens.
Each squad has been assigned 1 aisle in Westpac Stadium and their aim is to get everyone in their aisles behind the team they're cheering for.
The cheerleader squads are practicing hard because during the week leading up to the 2012 Sevens and over the weekend you'll be able to txt into vote for your favourite squad. And the squad with the most txt votes will win the grand prize of $7,000!

We are a group of girls who all met at Massey uni in Palmy and became great friends after living together in the halls of residence. We then decided to live together in second and third year split between two flats next to each other. We all study a very diverse range of subjects and have very different personalities but love each other for it!

The Cook Island 's Cheerleaders
The Cook Island's Cheerleader team for the 2012 Wellington Sevens is made up of members from different backgrounds. This includes trickers, who do crazy flips, Cheerleaders, with their awesome supporting skills, a bgirl with attitude, and a dude who thinks he can shuffle. We hope that this year our exciting performance skills will help amp up the crowd, and get everyone behind the Cook Islands team.

This year we are lucky enough to attend this awesome event and be the official cheerleaders for the Scottish team. We are a group of friends from Tauranga who met through musical theatre many years ago. We sing together, dance together and have one hell of a party together most weekends.
